As per the title, does this exist? If so, any ideas where I might be able to get it? If it doesn't, is there a way to get some printed up?

Are you looking for carbon fibre effect? Xpres have a few new ones that may fit the bill

thanks, have come across that but am looking for something that looks like carbon which that doesnt really.

it's available for signmaking but would have thought someone would have made some for garments..bummer

Have a look at the Hexis, they had a carbon fibre effect garment film.

We've had this in recently for a customer, but don't currently keep it as a regular stock item. It's called Carbon Fibre and is a garment film flex. If you get stuck we can get this in for you in 1m lengths (or longer).
