Does anyone use any generic advertising literature for promotional gifts? I'm looking for a poster ideally along with images etc. I know Xpres do leaflets but never seen posters.

I'm going to design and print my own, once I've got everything set up, it will be cheaper than going to a supplier.

I've got the Ricoh GX7000, so will be able to get 4xA5 flyers from one sheet of A3 paper, and as long as the background is kept white, it won't be that expensive

Is your GX7000 set up for sublimation?

If the ricoh is set up for sublimation you can't change between that and normal inks and printing posters/flyers with sub ink would crazy. Design it and get it printed out at a printers or even staples - far cheaper.

You'll just have to get another GX7000 to make use of that ink! :D

I found a few posters etc. but they're aimed at companies who print pretty much everything and I want to target certain products, just talking to my customers to see what they would need right now.

If they weren't so difficult to source right now, I might consider it

When I phoned up and ordered my subli inks last week, the guy asked if I had the printer, erm, yes, he wanted to know where I got it as he can't get any.and has a few back orders. I only got mine the week before.

Seems there are a good few sites having problems sourcing them just now

Thought that might be the case. I bought a second GX5050 as a backup when they were cheap on eBay. Made the mistake of putting the standard inks in for the kids to have a printer....now my main 5050 is kapputted (new word eh?) I have to wait for a replacement....which has been a verrrry long task. Anyway, I digress......

I thought if we could come up with generic advertising posters/leaflets etc. many members could make use of them and bring the overall costs down. I guess the majority of us print the same standard items, mugs, mats, coasters etc. but we'd need a way to customise the designs as a 'one fit' option may not work for everyone.

Found a guy on ebay that will do 50xA3 full colour posters for £17.

Is that a good price? Works out at 34p per poster
