Vertical white line on Ricoh 3110 [SOLVED] ...

This has just started happening. I'm getting a vertical line through all prints on a Ricoh SG3110DN. You can see the line best in the magenta section below, but it runs through all colours ...

I've tried the following, after looking through all forum posts and on the net, to no avail ...

• Nozzle checks - All fine.
• Head cleaning (multiple times) - Line still appears.
• Flushed print heads - Line still appears.
• Cleaned encoder strip (3 times) - No luck.
• Readjusted head alignment - No luck.
• Tried different paper - No luck.
• Promised Santa I'd be a good boy from now on - No luck.

I'm really flummoxed with this one! Has anyone had a similar problem and can help out? Pretty pleeeeze! :frown:

Would you Adam and Eve it! I've been on most of the day trying to sort this out, to the point of considering stripping down my printer to see if anything was scratching the lines in.

So here's the answer, for anyone in a similar situation ...

So I'm now back into production and back on Santa's Naughty List!

I occasionally get this, I've found if it's a new batch of sublimation paper, and if I have two sheets stuck together I get the white line. I've found that if I just flick through the paper it separates it enough to stop this. Glad you solved your issue,

Hi Webtrekker! I have the same issue but I can see the sollution because there's a "user deleted" message. Do you remember how could you solve it? Thanks!!!
