Helllloo,
I am looking to get a starter kit, am pretty set on which printer I want (SG400).
Heat presses I'm stuck on. I have limited budget (though wish I didn't), but initially need a good press for creating mainly coasters (cork backed), though not as a day to day operation, it needs to be good quality and reliable.
Are there any starter kits/presses you would recommend?
Good heat press for novices?

Hi
Im really happy with the starter kit I got from NovaChrome. The heat press I decided upon was the https://www.novachrome.co.uk/swing-head ... ct-a3.html
Really pleased with it, and seems able to cope with all of the items I do so far

We use a hp3805, Ours came from bms in Bournemouth so not too far for you to go and collect. It been pretty good for us so far and I know a few others on here use it too. Our main product on it is coasters with cork backs.
if we had more budget I would have gone for an Adkins. It’s still on my wish list tbh but whilst this one is doing the job it’s not too urgent.
we also use and sg400 for the printing. So good choice. It may be worth looking at Ricoh with sublisplash inks too. Dyesubsupplies sell some starter kits too.
Alex.
