Hi everyone!
Just experinced how much ink that was disposed in the initial setup (epson). (In to a waste ink tank) Dindn't measure but it would be some money down the drain if it was out of a say sawgrass chartridge.
Asking because I consider buying a ricoh with sublisplash. Do you recomend installing cheap ink in the initial setup? Then change to the sublimation ink once setup is done?
New printer - initial setup
Re: New printer - initial setup
You will still need to run the ink through to flush the initial ink out of the system so likely it wouldn't pay.

100% No as you will need to flush the cheap ink out of the lines to get the "good" ink through, Yes you will waste a lot of ink filling the lines on first setup but you only need to do this once so bite the bullet and get good ink from the startjoker0;126029 wrote: Do you recomend installing cheap ink in the initial setup? You get 2 sets with the swap out kit Justin. However it looks like joker0 is looking at a brand new set up not swapping out so the new Ricoh comes with only one set as per any other new printer.
