I've just installed a set of refil carts in one of my Epson printers. They had the little coloured tabs that I removed, filled, replaced. Couldn't get a decent nozzle check and realised I had small clear bungs in the front of the carts as well. I took these out and put them in place of the coloured tabs/bungs and nozzle check seems ok.
Just watching an install of CIS in same machine and the carts in this had the same bungs, obviously where the tabs are is where the tubes go in for the CIS but I noticed they left the clear bungs in the other holes.
Anyone any advice on this please?

My Refill for the 1500W has bungs but also a small hole where you place a one way valve supplied by the CISS people when purchasing the kit. Have a look as it might be that there is something similar on your system.

You leave the coloured bungs in after filling and throw the clear ones away as they are the travel bungs.

Some carts have a little coloured air bung on the top, that one should be removed.Reg;125705 wrote:You leave the coloured bungs in after filling and throw the clear ones away as they are the travel bungs.
