Need Help with layouts

Hello everyone..... my name is Kevn and I have just started a small side business to help my son work himself through high school as jobs are getting hard to come by in our little tourest town of Tehachapi, ca.
Anyway I am new to Photoshop 7 we are looking for a way to get a plan layout where we can just import ( copy and past we know) a logo or photo and then put copy next to it.
we are doing Mugs for companys, and they want there logo on one side of the mug and copy on the other
does anyone have a program that is prelayed out or how can we do that in photoshop
a video lesson for begginers would be best, if anyone knows where to find one...

I do all my layouts in Corel Draw I only use Photoshop for tweaking the photos.

The standard mug layout I use is 195 x 80 I have a Corel Draw page with three mug layouts spaced over it and I just trim them down,
