Re: Good Mugs and where to buy

Post by Bob700 »

Hi
I'm looking for advice/info on where to buy good mugs. I always used BMS but had a few problems I tried Xpres they were good but I'm looking for opinions on other suppliers I want to be able to guarantee to customers that the mugs I use are of good quality hence ebay avoidance, any thoughts would be gratefully received

Thanks

Those are the best two in our opinion - although you can add Listawood into the mix for their AAA 10oz. We don't touch any other supplier when it comes to mugs.

When did you last try Xpres? I had mixed results a while back but these last couple of years the XP5013 has been superb, no rejects whatsoever.

After Justin's suggestion on here a few months back, we switched to the XP5013, and have not looked back. We won't be using any other mug now in our production system. In our eyes, best mugs around.

Depends on the quantity of mugs you want to order and how often - are you wanting to buy in a few mugs at a time, or are you wanting pallets - there's suppliers better set up for the former and latter.

We find the print on both Xpres and Listawood very good and have quite a few hundred listawood 10oz in our stock room BUT we always prefer to water dunk mugs and find only Xpres mugs can handle this whereas Listawood always crack. Xpres certainly safe option.

Listawood for me too, but to be fair, I've never tried the Xpres mugs. I just found the Listawood mugs were perfect for my setup and stuck with them.
