Hi,

I am having poor results when printing any colour onto black vinyl, I have tried various methods such as adjusting the contrast/brightness in Versaworks studio still not the correct results can somebody guide me in the right direction?

you need to print white first then the colours over the top, I presume you have white ink in your printer.

Or just get white vinyl and print black where you need it. :wink:

Not come across digital black vinyl but have printed black on white digital vinyl where it needed to have black background

think you could only print white / metalics onto black vinyl, - if you have that option.

Did a job on black carbon fibre effect vinyl once that was in colour and used the white>CYMK profile and came out fine.

Did another job on black one that required a really punchy white so made a new profile that put down 3 layers of white and worked really well.
