Re: Bemused by strange hue on a Mug

Hi guys,
We had a complaint last night of a mug that arrived in Australia. It is a Listawood AAA, the design was part graphic with pink text all on a white background. We're 99% sure it left us with no issues (there's always a chance it was missed, but this is so obvious we can't believe we did), basically, the image looks as if the pink from the text and graphic has contaminated pretty much the whole of the pressed part of the white background giving it a pink hue. Also the edges of much of the text are not sharp either.
We've never experienced anything like this before or since, never rejected a mug for anything like this, (it was sent around 2 weeks ago).
Has anyone ever experienced anything like this at the pressing stage? or could it be possible that something contaminated the coating during air transit to Australia causing a reaction with the ink?
Any ideas or suggestions would be most appreciated.
