Pressure on Flat Heat press
Re: Pressure on Flat Heat press
First post so bear with me please. Is there an easy way to determine the pressure needed on these heat pressing machines? All very well saying 40 psi medium without having a gauge to test . Mug-press side of things sorted . Anyone any suggestions please.
Re: Pressure on Flat Heat press
its not too critical for sub or vinyl, only laser transferes.
suggest you will need to put a bit of muscle in to get 40psi, but will depend on your press.
do tests!
remember that garment thickness will effect pressure!

Re: Pressure on Flat Heat press
As logo says, but another way to judge is by loosening the pressure as much as possible (that is light pressure).... now turn the know counting the number of rotations until you get to the maximum pressure you can comfortably push down on (that is heavy pressure) and now count half way back and that will be medium.
Its not an exact science so as you start pressing you will get used to various items and what sort of pressure etc they require.
