green coming out as blue?

Hi,

I am not sure what's happened with one of my products, but when I print a circuitboard design (green) it is coming out blue! I am using my macbook pro with illustrator. The only thing which has changed is that Illustrator recently updated to a newer version. I use a Ricoh SG3110DN.

I've tried the print head check and that's all ok. I have flushed the ink and cleaned the print heads just in case. Still the same thing happens!

Any ideas?!

You using the Sawgrass ICC?

I did set that up when I first got the printer.. I wonder if it's vanished with the latest update maybe??

I'm no expert on this but seeing as green is made of blue and yellow, is it possible your yellow printhead is blocked?

Can you do test print?

Might be worth checking that you have the ink loaded in the correct spots - on the nozzle check, it should be (left to right) cyan, black, yellow, magenta.

This shouldn't be possible with Sawgrass cartridges, but if you're using refillables then you could conceivably have filled a cartridge with the wrong colour ink.

If the only thing that has changed recently is Adobe illustrator then id look at your settings, the update shouldn't change things but you never know, it may have reverted to the wrong print setting somewhere.

Go back to basics and start with your print settings.

Thanks all. The nozzle check came out (annoyingly) fine. They are original Sawgrass cartridges - not refills or anything.

I tried to download the more recent ICC profile / Sawgrass installer thing for the printer, but it won't install on my mac. I am using macOS Sierra. Might be something in that. If it won't even install, chances are something isn't running right?

Has anyone installed the sawgrass icc profile on the mac with sierra? I am fairly sure that's the problem... might have to dig out an old PC at this rate.
