Excuse a silly question from a newbie ( forgive the Americanism), but is there any reason why the forum uses an American spellchecker? Is it a setting I need to change, or am I stuck with it?
I was looking forward to spelling colour with a 'u', using 's' instead of 'z' (zed not zee) and even occasionally spelling a@@@ with an 'r', without being flagged.

I know this works in Firefox ...

Right-click when typing a reply and select 'Language' from the menu that appears. If there's no UK English, you can download a suitable dictionary to install from the link at the bottom of the sub-menu.

You might need to install the UK English dictionary

Thanks - that looks like it solved the 'problem'. Much appreciated.
