OKI 711WT printer £2000 ish

WOW 7.8 and T.ONE papers and a very good heat press is all you need.

Personally I would purchase everything for this from TMT and get them to train you. That way, if something is not working you only have one call to make. There is no discount from TMT but you may be able to negotiate.

Other members will recommend FOREVER papers, I am sure they are just as good although I have never used them.

T.ONE is the muts nuts :-)

Listawood offer a hardware discount, most suppliers can no longer give a discount on printers and inks as Sawgrass hiked prices.

Adkins all the way for me, but then I have not had anything else to compare it with :-)

I know that PRESSMECH are also rated very highly.

Some people like the STAHLS FUSION, but I think there is way too much to go wrong with that particular model. As an example, my current Adkins is in for repair as I dropped it, the loan Adkins I have is over 19 years old and behaves like it is brand new. With the touch screens and micro chips etc in the Stahls I can not see that still being around in 19 years.

Magic Touch (TMT) are a fantastic supplier because their technical support is superb.
As i understand it, none of the suppliers make much or any money on hardware, but they want to sell consumables - paper etc
The best basic laser printer for non-white transfere is the oki C610 - with TMT optimisation, - and special drivers to control speed through the fuser unit it is only £309 plus vat.
You can buy elsewhere for about £50 less, - but without the optimisation, - and more importantly, - no drivers tool to ensure proper fusing to the media.
TMT and Forever media are both good.
For laser transfere you absolutely MUST have a really good heat press, - very high pressure and good even temperature, - and ADKINS is the brand that does this.

I recommend TMT because they will give you training on the processes, and gteat support. Once you know how to make it work, you could experiment with alternative media.....
