I am very disappointed with the colour I am getting from my printer, very dull, nothing like the colour from my HP inkjet printer. I have done a head clean but still horrible. How can I set up the colours?

You must use PowerDriver software

I presume you mean post pressing? The colour on paper is very different to what will be sublimated onto a substrate.

You did fail to mention if pre or post pressing... If you are looking at the paper pre pressing then they are horrible. Press onto an item and the check what the image is like.

I am using Creative Studio Print & Colour Manager. The image on the computer screen is bright and colourful but when I print it onto TexPrint-R is dull and lacking colour

I used to use TruePix paper, maybe TexPrint is not suitable for this, I truly don't know. That's when you print or when you press ?

The righthand image is printed prior to pressing, I am using the paper supplied with the printer. I have done a head clean and all the cartridges have ink.

......so, have you tried pressing yet? Personally I would suggest Truepix all the time.

I believe two things about Power Driver 4. Firstly it is set up for Truepix paper and as Justin says then this is the best to use anyway. Other papers may show different results. Secondly, PD4 is rubbish in our experience and never gets the colours correct. Hence why if you are serious you need to head down the custom ICC profile route.
