Hi Guys,
I'm looking at doing some t-shirt/jumper printing - looking to get up to 20 a day asap via facebook, ebay etc - If you could ignore the positive, yet naive statement that there is still money to be made in this area and stay with me)
I intend to print to order rather than buy 100 of the same designed t-shirt from china and be left with 99 because they are poor sellers.
Im looking at the gym market with colourful gym referenced images. The following t-shirts are what i would be aiming for. I'm trying to get away from the usual logo 'monster nutrition' 'killer gorilla' and all those other lame names and focus on cartoony mash ups of cartoon characters.
I want to be the uk version of this :
and get away from
Typical T-shirts.
Would the t-shirts be screen printed or vinyl pressed?
Can you let me know your thoughts on the following printers for quality prints and whether if they are overkill for just t-shirt/jumper printing at the quantity listed above?. The thing is I do want to make them of higher quality - but should i be putting the money into better quality blank shirts rather than the printer?
OKI pro920WT Printer with White Toner
Roland BN-20
Epson F2000 DTG
I already use a Rioch 3100 and a Hotronix heat auto press for printing phone cases so wouldn't need to purchase another press.
On another note - how are these leggings and the rucksack printed ? Would these only be made in a factory?
Thanks everyone
!
