Currently using Win 7 Professional on the laptop and I've now got a message saying i can upgrade free to Windows 10

Question is, will Adobe Illustrator (CS6 64bit) work on windows 10 ?

and is it better to upgrade ? currently awaiting some new sub paper to get a custom icc built, will windows 10 change anything ?

many thanks in advance

i have built many PCs over the yrs, and not one customer has wanted win 10 in there machines....not one....for it to bloated and full of ****

We have the main system on 10, and I think its brilliant. Great piece of software and a massive improvement on 8. Most software works with it. Takes a bit of getting used to, and if you didn't go 7, 8, 10 then it is very different to 7.

However, the laptops that contain the cutter drivers and software etc are on 7, and will be staying on 7. Tried to get the cutter to work on 10, and it wouldn't.

Have moved all our systems to 10 now, and happy with it. Held off on the main machine, as it was hard to find time that staff weren't on it, or it didn't have a big print queue running.
Only system that isn't is one that needs to stay on XP to run the large format scanner, which is old, and too expensive to replace.

I have a laptop with Win 8 and that convinced me that the main computer will stay on Win 7 forever. I've managed to remove the Win 10 auto download, the constant Win 10 nag screens and got a program to prevent Win10 secretly self installing.
