Can a smaller printer or heat press be used to create bigger subs?
Re: Can a smaller printer or heat press be used to create bigger subs?
I guess what I am asking is can I use an a3 printer to print an image cut the image in half and then sublimate the 2 halves length ways in 2 separate presses on the garment?

In theory yes but unless the design lends itself easily to being chopped in half you'll be struggling to get the design lined up.

If it was a vinyl design it could be done, I once printed a huge table cloth with a design in the middle, this took several presses on an A3.

so if I did say 2 full black sublimations you are saying there would be a line in the middle?
