Been looking at the SubiCotton from BMS and it notes only setup for Ricoh SG3110.
I've searched and tried to find details but no luck, so is there a specific reason why
for example a Epson printer with sublinova ink cannot be used?
Would it be just an issue with requiring a custom ICC profile or possibly the thinner
ink?
Any help appreciated.

Re: SubiCotton with Epson printer?
Somebody else might be able to confirm, but I think it is just as you said - it requires a specific ICC profile, and it probably made sense to do it for Ricoh as that's what most people use. I'm sure if you had the capability to make your own ICC it would work. BMS could probably clarify for you.
Re: SubiCotton with Epson printer?
i think its more to do with inks. in epson they could be to wet and smudge on paper while printing. but this is just a guess. i did try it on my ricoh and image was quite wet too.
