Hi all,

I am currently in a process of installing a Epson xp (422) and I was wondering during the initial setup do I use the sub (ink) for the setup process or the original ink instead.

I know this might be a straight forward response but I want to make sure, since I couldn't really get a concrete answer using search on the forums.

Any information would be helpful

Thank you in advance!

SUB ink else youll be wasting ink and possibly contaminating the sub ink.

ok, so S should ignore the oem inks that came with the printer? just thought I needed to install the oem inks first for the nozzle check.

Thank you for the response!

no you can nozzle check with sublimation inks the Inks i supply are chemically similar to epson pigment but even then id suggest deionized water
