Re: What would you buy?

ok, I've just had a refund of £300 from a hire car after someone shunted me from behind.
I've only been going as a business for about 6 weeks so only have the basics. Swing away press, mug press, latte press, & 2 A4 printers 1 for normal use and one for sublimation use.
My question is what would YOU buy with the £300? I've been looking at an A3 printer but not sure....

I would save it and keep saving until you can by either a decent vinyl plotter or even a print and cut machine.
Many thanks
Iain

Equipment used A4 Ricoh printer, HP3085 Heat Press Graphtec cutter, Jarin mug press, CJV 30-60 solvent printer and lots of help from DSF.

I never thought about going into vinyl to be honest. Well, not for quite a while anyway.

Very rare you need an A3 for sublimation normally only for glass cutting boards.

Ok cool. Whats a nice entry level plotter? Is it worth looking into a 2nd hand one to get a better brand?

Or if you're only doing small stuff then the Silhouette cameo is a cracking cheap tool

I've had Roland, Graphtec and Silhouette, still have the last 2. My old Roland CX was the simplest by far, Graphtec more complex but best quality. Silhouette is surprisingly capable (if a little slow and noisy) for the budget price.
