Franking machine onthly rental

Hi Guys , I was offered a Franking machine for £19.90 a month (12 month contract ) from PB ...The guy is telling me its a special offer and the price goes up to £ 30 if you dont get it this month ....I think he is lieing lol....Its it a good deal ?? is there another companies doing these deals and are they good ??,,,,...I like the fact that I don't have to go the post office everyday which is so annoying and time wasting ....

find out what is included in the rental, and get hold of RM and see what they are offering

franking can be cheaper. as long as you are busy and utilising all the time every month. be careful of small print. plus there is probably an extra joining fee/machine fee.

except when there web site goes tits up and you cant get your post away :rolleyes: been there had that, why we moved to franking.
where's the faffin with a franking machine ? - simple as ( unlike OBA with codes all over the shop )

franking - add postage ( charged at £7 per add ) so add enough to do you for the month - then fire in your envelopes, and it even takes small jiffy bags, so saves you on lables.

for OP....phone pitney and say you want the £9.99pm deal on the DM50 machine. - we got it about 2+ yr ago, and still have it, and it incl any/all maintenance.
have had 3 new machines out so far...they lock up sometimes, but pitney we on the ball...new machine out every time within 3 days of phoning.

no standing in PO line either....drop the franking mail bags to the side of the counter, girl opens hatch n takes em in...SIMPLES !! :biggrin:

Watching my dad's office have to frank each thing, seems to take longer to get a mail batch done than filling in the one OBA form, we then take straight to the local RM depot bypassing the post office completely.
Never had a problem with the website been down, although we have clean instructions on what to do if it happens, adding to that the automatic/included tracking for parcels that's coming when we move to barcodes, we can't fault our experience, or RM's support, money saved or staff time saved compared to before we moved across

The OBA site went done a few times in November, but it was only down for a few hours which is a lot less time than waiting three days for a new franking machine. Buy PPI labels on ebay and spend less than five mins doing your daily posting sheet.

We saw the emails come in apologizing for the site going down - but were oblivious, as when we do our post at the end of the day it was always working.

So OBA seems more efficient and I favoured OBA too ....Still waiting for Royal mail to contact me ..
