ebay and photo's attached to ebay messages

I have a problem with photos in ebay messages, when i click on the photo they expand widthwise stretching the photo,

Customers usually email but i have one particular customer who doesn't seem able to and keeps sending a photo through the messages :frown:

its happening in Firefox and ie

anyone else having this problem ?

yes, I've seen this before. Ebay also reduces the size and quality of the images sent via their messaging system.
Can the customer send the image via a txt message or whatsapp?

Hi. I have recently noticed that the image you see is distorted, however, if you right click and save as, the image will appear in the correct format. It will be, however, quite small so not good for enlarging. This distortion problem is quite recent and I don't know if it is down to the browser (I use Opera). My listings state clearly not to send images through ebay but do people read the instructions....................??? The number of times I get a message asking "how do I get my image to you"? It's all there in the listing!!!
The other problem with ebay is that you are unable to send a message through their system containing an email address for the customer to send a higher res image to.

easy way round that is make a photo of your email address and attach it as a pic

I just seem to have a buyer who obviously hasnt a clue about emails, they are going to send a photo snail mail so i can scan it and then send it back with the item.
Still doesnt solve the problem for next time.
