Re: FancyProductDesigner - Requesting A Play...

Post by Ucase Ltd »

Hey All,

I've been using Fancy Product Designer for a while but I'm trying out some new templates (far more complicated than what I usually use).

Things seem to be slowing down for me but I'm not sure if it's my crappy PC or an online issue (seems ok on the ipad).

Would you mind trying playing with the "personlise" option on this page and let me know how it runs for you?

Thanks in advance,
John.

All seems well to me John on the loading side of things it loaded quite quick

only thing I got was a server error when uploading a image using internet explorer 11 ( see attached image)

also (me just being fussy) the preview of the case gets squeezed in to the product image section on the page (see attached image)

I use fancy product designer and never have problems with my templates slowing anything down as long as you optimise them I use png 24

Hi Mattie,

Thanks very much for that. I appreciate it. This is the thing I tend to find with FPD - Just little bugs with various browsers etc.

- As for the squished up bit - This has been happening for a while but no idea why. It used to be fine and I don't know how to fix it. Think a support ticket might be in order.

- IE 11 - Oh dear. That is a problem. I know enough to have built my site using themes and plugins but I'm not technical enough to fix these kind of errors. I do have a "go to" programmer so I'll ask him to take look.

Thanks again.

Hi James - Thanks for taking a look at this.

Can I ask what device/browser you were using? Was it a mobile?

I'm thinking of disabling FPD on mobile as it's so fiddly to use.

Thanks again,
John.

Thanks mate - That's exactly what I'm using. - It's these little bugs that really wind me up.
I know it must be tough for developers to create something like this that works across the board and with multiple themes etc but it's so frustrating.
