Hello all,
I have the above mentioned printer, I got it from a member on here and it is running fine.
I am running low on ink, one cartridge is worse than the others. My question is, can I buy a visi sub cartridge and mix it with the sublijet-R cartridges already in the printer ? (because visi sub seems to be a bit cheaper).
I have also found a site that says it does an empty cartridge and bulk geljet sublimation ink that will mix perfectly with oem inks (I take it they mean sawgrass inks), Has anyone used bulk geljet inks in their sg3110 ? , if so how were the results ?
I am a newbie and I have been looking for a couple of weeks for a cheap ink solution, its all a bit confusing as most of the "bulk" inks seem to be for epsons. I'm also a bit sceptical about using cheaper inks in my printer in case I ruin it.
all advice gratefully received.
Cheers

Visi and Subli carts are the same, just a different label

I've never succesfully seen 'cheaper' inks work in a Ricoh for any length of time.

Thanks for the replies Justin. I'll play it safe for the time being and stick to the sawgrass inks, maybe get myself a cheap epson somewhere down the line and try the cheaper inks out with that.
