Re: sunangel vs magic touch. vs others print hand?
Hi please could someone tell me what papers give the best hand I have a tshirt sample printed by the magic touch at p&p show and its almost like its embedded in the shirt and I cant feel edges or anything I have the sunangel system and it deffinately feels different its thinner than inkjet dark papers ive used but has a feel more like a very thin viny. Is there maybe a way of laying down less ink or is it just that there are other papers that are better, I don't want a comparison of the printers such as ease of use or price just the transfers please

We have the oki white system using the wow paper, we got it from the magic touch, great service, fantastic back up and in answer to your question the amount of toner laid down can be adjusted using the space control software, I don't have any knowledge on sun angel, print profiles can be toggled to suit the needs of the job ..

We have been happy customers of Magic touch for well over 20 years. They have great customer & technical support, and their products work. each year i go to the shows to compare the alternatives, but have never found a reason to charge.
Having a really great press will always help, the adkins is superb

I think the TMT hand is superior.
Had an argument with a customer the other week as he was convinced that what I had given him was a screen printed t-shirt with a bucket load of softener in the mix. The feel was bloomin superb.
The SA stuff I have seen is good but not as good in my honest opinion.
I suppose if you are wanting the best, it would make far more sense to go with the company that has better research and development.
Plus, and I can not stress this enough, TMT have never lied about their products. SA have. Sorry to say but that is the case.

They refused as they say they recommend the one with the Wow pad and they wont send samples for my printer, what other papers would people recommend the magic touches Sample was a better feel than my ultrabrite ones
Re: sunangel vs magic touch. vs others print hand?
Well thats a bit strange as I use it on several models of OKI printers including the SunAngel ones but I already had the correct pads anyway. I know that their paper is SUPER fussy about the press that you use it HAS to have an even correct temp and pressure or you will just waste the garment and a set of papers.
