Is there such a thing as country 'flag vinyl'? such as a sheet with the union jack on that when a name is cut it will show the flag as a background?

I saw a welsh t-shirt yesterday (very quickly) with a logo that was made with the welsh flag ........... this is why it got me thinking.

Regards to all

Could be done as a print and cut job onto printed vinyl. Not sure you'd get ready printed vinyl and how that would work with regards to size etc. You could simply powerclip the flag into lettering on CorelDraw.

Yeah - I thought it would be pretty hard (and rare) to get something such as this. The t-shirt must have been 'multi-layered' or even a sublimation t-shirt that had some shadows on it.

Thanks Justin :-)

Take a look here and at the other Xpres vinyls, may be a good way to do it?

How does that work Justin? I would have said it's multi layered but looking at the 'zoom' in picture I noticed that there would be about 6 layers with red being the bottom layer, then blue, then black, then other layers to add on the spalshes that go over the black??

I guess so, it does look like layers, the fiddly bits would be a pain to weed, lol. Personally I think you'd be better off getting transfers made for such a design if you needed a few, otherwise a print and cut through a wide format machine/versacamm etc.
