Having a cup of tea, discussing with a Chinese supplier on alibaba willing to sell me 5000 pieces of my own product. I wonder if he will sell me 5000 each of all 400+ of my designs?

Reporting counterfeits to alibaba involves sending your passport details to alibaba; perhaps the Chinese will counterfeit me too!

So I asked the company if the products were genuine and not illegally copied...

" Hi Gary,

We can 100% gurantee the quality would be best. To avoid patent issues, we would make a tiny adjustment on the color or shape. Final image proof will be sent soon.

Attached is invoice for payment. Please send us bank receipt,so we can start production without delay, thanks

Thanks for your order again. "

What a Scumbag.

thanks for reminder ... not checked in a while.
though more concerned about some UK dept stores who have mugsmore than heavily influenced by ours, similar ideas and concept but designs sufficiently different that we can't do anything ... they'll have seen us at trade shows, but not bought our product, which is the most annoying thing, not even approached us.

They must have sent an infringement bot to Amazon and scooped all of the designs and product descriptions. Don't sell flat products and comply with Amazon image guidelines, I made it easier for them I suppose.

Next forced to remove 'Burberry' syle designs, Tesco doing Cath Kidston styled note books, Halfords nicking my ideas, it goes on constantly.

Yep, used to wind me up big time seeing all the One Direction knock offs, but now Edina Menzel has it right.... Let it go, let it go ;-)

This guy had got all of his employees to upload all of my products to alibaba, I could tell by the names and languages they spoke. Told him to remove them or else...think he's going to comply. My email address we were exchanging emails on, my website and brand name must have been blooming obvious to him....water off a ducks back. Tim't put kettle on again.
