Re: Craft Robo Problems
I thought it was about time i got used to the craft robo, as we have a lot of work on, and i am fully using the big cutter,
anyway i have a problem, when it says load - i put the vinyl in - then it says unload media ?? is that right, all i seem to be able to do is load and unload vinyl into it - not been able to cut a thing yet - give me another p cut any day of the week

Re: Craft Robo Problems
Have you installed the ROBO Master software?
Once you have loaded the media, use the ROBO Master software to create your cut job and when this has finished cutting, press the button to unload the media.

Re: Craft Robo Problems
im using corel draw, i hit the print button, and i choose craft robo, then i hit print, it says cut now i say yes, nothing happens as on the cutter its just showing "unload media" - when i unload media, it says "load media" is the cutter message likely to change depending on the software its running ?? even if i take out the usb lead it still says "load media" unload media

Re: Craft Robo Problems
All that message is doing is asking you to load the media or unload it. When it says load media you put the vinyl/ flex in the machine (the message will automatically then change to unload media).
Once you have loaded the media then you're ready to cut. I don't use Corel, but from memory you can'r cut from this software directly. You can save as a dxf format and import this into the ROBO Master software or there is an Illustrator plug in for direct cutting from that software.

aaah right, i was following some instructions i got from the transfer press, that could be the issue then DOHH !!!! maybe they had an older machine or older software corel 11 i think i will try, was really hoping not to have to use another lot of software, never mind, best laid plans of mice and men and all that will give it a go later, im frazzled ive cut over 20 mtrs today on the other machine and now have "quite a lot" of weeding to do

Re: Craft Robo Problems
I use CorelDraw X4 (used to use version 12) and print directly to my CraftRobo without problems, however my CraftRobo model is only a CC200-20 and has no display panel.
I did install the ROBO Master Software so the driver was installed, but that was all I had to do. I eventually also worked out the spacing so I could use the optical eye recognition system directly from CorelDraw as well.

Re: Craft Robo Problems
thats what i thought, that you could cut directly from corel draw, all of our files are on corel, so to have to change their format just to use this little cutter will be fkn annoying to say the least. we were told when we bought it last year it would cut directly as well, but that could just be target being target - anything for a sale
never mind i guess its another thing for flea bay
