Hi Everyone, I am slowly but surely making progress in the wonderful world of sublimation mug printing thanks to members here.
Got another strange one, When I am printing anything red its printing on the mug in a slightly lighter red, not quite pink, but not as red as the image looks in photoshop.
I am printing using the PowerDriver v4 and my print settings are
Substrate = Ceramic / Glass
Paper is TextPrint-R
Pre heat for 120 seconds and cook for 400 seconds.
Any help / guidance would be very much appreciated.

Print from Photoshop to the proper Ricoh driver
Use the appropriate ICC profile from Sawgrass
use proofing mode in Photoshop to see what the colours will print like
assuming you have a decent calibrated monitor - for best results get a custom ICC profile made

@Pisquee -
I have downloaded the PowerDriver and registered the profile via SawGrass, getting a product ID and entering that into the registration form.
Interested to know how I go about having a custom ICC profile made & installed and the cost, As I have gone through maybe 10 cups now trying to get red to print correctly. Do you know of anyone on here who can create a custom ICC profile?

Customprints....is your monitor calibrated?
If not, colours will be an approximation.

Hi Wayupnorth - I am using the mini sub oven
Pre heat @190c for 120 seconds / then cook for 400 seconds @190c -
Really frustrating at the moment as I am going through my first box of 32 mugs like wild fire.

There are people who happily use an oven so I am not knocking the process. However I went down the same road as you and eventually purchased a £100 press from Subli. Very quickly I started producing good quality mugs which sell well.
