Re: My printer isn't printing yellow please help.
Are you using a CISS or refillable cartridges?
Do you have a set of standard Epson carts available?

Ciss yes I have the cartridges that were in it before I changed it over.

I had the same problem, took a lot of head cleanings and running only print to best photo before I could get it to clear!

Put the proper Epson carts back in to establish whether the problem is with the printer or the CISS
Most likely you will quickly get a perfect print from them, and discover that CISS are more hassel than they're worth, and go out and buy some refill carts.

Agree with Pisq. Had the same problems with my 1400 & 1800's using CISS, changed to carts in the 1400 and it wasn't as bad, didn't stop blockages cos I find Epsons are prone to them. Now using a WF-7710DTW with carts and taking them out end of each week and flushing with normal carts with cleaning fluid. Minimal loss and so far no problems.

Most problems with CISS systems are faults of the CISS or the printer not been capable of pulling the ink through the system fast enough to keep enough ink at the print head - these printers aren't designed to pull ink through long tubes from large tanks. Much rarer for the print head to actually be blocked.
I would always recommend a printer which has large (100ml +) refillable carts available - so you could look at the Work Force Pro or Stylus Pro range.
