My blanket has now started bubbling as well, after only 50 or so mugs pressed with it. Has anyone else found these to be extremely short-lasting?

Normally we get around 150-200 from the wraps so just call up and they will replace. We only go to 175/180c temp with the wraps so perhaps you're going too high or too high pressure?

My average is around 200 presses per wrap sometimes more and rarely less but for the price I don’t think it’s bad.

Are there any printing templates anywhere for use with the MDP press blankets, with an oven and silicone wrap you can almost go handle to handle and we've something setup in coreldraw for them.

I use the mug paper form inkexperts 99x210mm I think it is.

this fits the mug for the press and will do a full top to bottom print on a 10oz

I've always used Truepix A4 and when it's for mug wrapping for the friar oven I just guillotined them in half and snipped ends off, I see ink experts have 100gsm 'lite' & 120gsm grades of precut paper, not sure whats the lite for, I assume both fits in their mug press though which looks a good price at about £104inc although blankets are £32inc a time so bit more than MDP

I used to use Truepix but the ink experts lite paper is just as good for mugs.

Ordered yesterday at 5pm and bosh it’s here already from MDP so first query coming from using wraps and an airfryerbwhat pressure is used when closed on a mug!! I’ve perfected use of me Adkins heatpress but a mug press is different as it’s more squidgy. Any tips I’ve left five thread turns of bolt showing like in a photo on this thread but felt tight how tight should it be for a sweet spot

Tight enough for the mug not to move.
but not too tight that you could crack the mug.
