is mugsmans wooden insert in place of the puck ?? or something else that is used

I ordered a sample pack (of 6) with the insert with my last order, and the delivery has just arrived.

Hopefully they'll be good as I have sold all 6 of them already to potential customers

I will post an update of how I get on with them and then hopefully I can order some more of the mugs and do some samples for members if they wish?

there is much more polymer stuff available now for sublimation! HERE I must say I love to try plates and Ashtrays and latte mugs. I thik its time to bring this stuff to this country. what you think boys and girls?

I like the idea of the polymer coasters - if they're cheap enough. The cheap wooden ones I'm using at the moment often seem a little like false economy because the sublimation surface is easily chipped. Presumably that wouldn't happen with polymer coasters.

I was hoping that they might also do polymer placemats so we have something that doesn't warp as easily as the UniSub ones do (that's so annoying that you would have thought UniSub might have solved the issue by now).

Plus, good for BBQ's as they are plastic and can be knocked about!

Any suppliers looking at selling the other Polymer items? I'd also be interested in these.

To be honest Justin I think a lot of us would be very interested in these as they do open up a new market for us. As for suppliers stocking things we really want well that's another matter isn't it. At the end of the day who are we? oh yeah we are just the people who spend the money to buy such items if only we could.

It does make me wonder at times on this forum why we have so many suppliers as members but only seem to have one active one who does try to help.

Let's face it we are not exactly at the cutting edge of this industry are we.

Yes I've approached a couple of suppliers for bespoke sizes of coasters and placemats - so far the request for information, pricing, availability has returned 'no response'. Maybe my Chinlish isn't bad enough!!

Hi Mugsman!

Looking at the SunFly website (), they recommend 330 degrees F (165c) for 40 seconds. They also recommend removing the metal insert immediately, whereas you're dunking with your wooden insert still in!

I've received my Polymer mugs and metal insert from BMS and hoping to get a sample done today, but the different in temp/timing is confusing the hell out of me!

I'll post my results once I've taken the plunge lol!
