15mm is about the same as some 11oz mugs ive got, so the mugs seem normal size.
Looking at the bracket that holds your blanket it looks to bend inwards stopping the handle.

and i suggested it looked wrong in post 14

lol no, actualy looking at the pictures of the sb01 thats seems to be how they are designed, so more of a design fault i think.
