Not sure you need to lay down more ink?? It looks as though you have enough coverage and therefore if you go say 30% darker colourwise you ougght to get a better print? - well maybe ;o)
If you over ink the paper is there a chance of the paper wrinkling?
Your puck - which way up are you using it?? Piston the the mug or silicon to the mug?

Silicon on the Mug, the piston is against the heat pad and is supposed to transfer the heat.
It wouldn't work the other way around as it is, it would take me too long to mirror the contour of the mug base onto the Piston - I'm not sure I could even get it accurate enough.. I always wanted a Lathe - maybe now is the excuse I need
I have made a Jig now, so less chance of error when placing the mug.

yes, as long as the pressure is good enough and the mugs have been coated on the bottom (not all of them are)

at one of the shows i got some transfers which are applied under heat/pressure still got to try them, obviously then they are printed up with whatever you want on the bottom - still not tried them yet. but i know where they are, so if you want to try some nik let me know and i will pop some in the post
