In a nut shell I have learned today that certain colours have limitations, and essentially those are the ones that leap out, lime green, bright pink, and some ends of the red spectrum. Interesting reading!

I think this inability might also be to do with the brand of sublimation ink. I have seen vibrant colour reproduction of Disney pictures (with copyright!) using sublimation inks and these colours tend to be at the extremes of the colour gamut. The inks used were the SubliJet-IQ brand, which doesn't tend to be the most popular in the UK (Artainium is more popular). Ian at Novachrome would be the best person to speak to - he's been on here a couple of times - as they have been the distributors for this brand of ink mainly in the past.
The latest Epson WP-4015 takes the SubliJet-IQ brand of inks which is more generally available from several suppliers, albeit more expensive than the Ricoh SubliJet-R inks used in the Ricoh or the Artainium/ Rotech used in the Epsons.
