They are set up as in the attached picture - borrowed from the manual! The main bit is in place with the middle section pulled out.

Thanks for this, I tried something similar early this year but unfortunately it didn't work. Since then (and because of that) I've actually replaced the printer and even this morning it printed using original Epson carts perfectly, it's the blimmin' sublimation inks that are giving me grief

Therefore I don't think this is suitable at the moment?? Will definitely hang on to the info though - just in case...

bin your ciss and use refillables

far less problems! more refilling but less air blocks etc.

I think that may be the only way to get up & running at the moment!
On that note, could you let me know how the printer copes if left to stand with refillables in?
My problem is that I do this part time around a 'proper' job and therefore the printer stands idle for fairly long periods. With the ciss the heads dry up within a day or two meaning hours spent headcleaning etc

Do the heads still have this problem with refillables?

Decision made then! I've found some on eBay so will order them and see how I get on! Of course in the meantime if anyone has any brainwaves of how I could achieve any printing today please let me know...

Thanks guys x
