Should work fine with your MacBook but I'm a Windoze bloke myself, so can't help much with that I'm afraid.
Latest Photoshop is great, but there have been some issues with printing from it that haven't really been resolved (for all my badgering on the Adobe forum!). I pay for Photoshop, which I use for designing, but have an old version of of CS5 that I print from.
