It wouldn't hurt. Have you definitely followed through the setup guides for printer, power driver and photoshop? I find that when anything goes wrong like this I double and then triple check and you can sometimes find a problem even on the third check! lol.

Also, the quality of the substrate could be an issue - black ( and some reds) is notoriously difficult to get 100%, and we have found a big difference in quality between chinese and ChromaLuxe metal inserts

Thanks guys,

I am going to try this paper that you guys suggested anyway and see, the paper I am using now just doesn't even feel good to me.

I am using Asian Metal inserts but White Metal is the correct setting for PowerDriver yes?

I am a poor Uni student who is trying to make some money out of this so hence the cheap paper.

I won't be selling them mate just had them made for fun and printed to see how logos look, hopefully they would be more concerned about my black colour issues tho :P

ok for my cases i use the xpres paper and also trupix. tex print is primarily for textiles so i save all of mine for that as it is where it excels. I havent had a single issue with my cases on those papers, the xpres is a really good paper i find however the trupix is much better and the print quality is very good.

get some of both and see which one suits you better, i started with a basic paper and it was terrible, so much so i use it as cover paper and scrap paper now.

It was going fine but from last night I was trying to print Mug and jigsaw but all of them are faded as follows. Don't know what to do. was trying to change pressure and temp but same result. Could you guys help me to find out. Thanks in Advance

Are you printing with the 'powerdriver' profile? If not the colours will be poor.
