You are printing on the right side of the paper so no worries there and looking at your mug I would say it is a time issue.

Can you let us know what temp and time you pressed at?

I put it in the Halogen Oven for 15 minutes!

I have no experience of an oven so my advice maybe incorrect. But will try!

When wrapping the image to the mug and clamping, ensure that the paper does can not twist inside the wrap. The clamp should be firm so the mug does not rotate with force.

Time wise I am completely in the dark as I have never used an oven, but your image looks like it has been over cooked. Someone on here maybe able to assist you more in times but if not, I would suggest knocking the time down by 2 minutes and see what you get. As every system is different you need quite a bit of trial and error to find that sweet spot. Unfortunately that does mean wasting a few mugs.

Lastly, I would suggest you make sure your mug is at least room temperature before placing in the oven. Many people sit the mugs on radiators for a few minutes before pressing.

Generally overcooking will make your blacks turn brownish. I always use a halogen now and after changing from an Epson to a Ricoh I had to adjust the timing and cook for three minutes less. With the Durham style mugs I only cook for nine mins. Although I must admit I have never pressed the same type of mug that you are.

Thanks to post 7 & 8 on this thread I have saved myself some time and paper, I never noticed the True Pix paper had different sides, I just grabed a handfull and loaded the tray (the wrong way)

easy way to check if printing on correct side is to lick your finger and grab a sheet. correct side will be sticky
