Excellent thread Adam & I'm so glad you've got it all sorted out now. It is also so good to hear how Sawgrass have helped you out too & a really good example of the support they can offer.

Brett, yours was a very interesting read too & I think I would have probably done exactly the same as you.

Simon, we don't intend to try to ignore anyone here but, we will always explain the benefits of using a supported system. As you say this is an excellent thread to direct them too but, we are always here to help anyone as much as we can.

I was going to 'reply with quote" to Adam's email but it was soooo long I would probably run out of characters trying to reply :)

Sadly Nigel us no longer with Sawgrass but having spoken to him directly about Adam's printer problem (and others at Sawgrass for PurpleDragon's come to that!) I'm pleased this was resolved swiftly and to everyone's satisfaction. Sometimes the distributors get some flack for advocating supported printers and inks but public examples like this are good to read.

That would be a first ............... Martin, lost for words! - see what I did there ............. I'll get my coat :(

On a more serious note though, I just wanted to put as much down as I could whilst it was fresh in my mind as it may help others in the future - pity about Nigel though, but if he's moved on it's probably to bigger and better things as his customer service was indeed 'outstanding'.

That's a good result and helps to reinforce the adage....'buy cheap buy twice'.. 'Supported' might be more expensive in the beginning but the support, as given in this case proves it is worth it for the confidence/resolution it gives if something goes wrong.
