Re: Corel Draw
Having never used any real design software like that before (apart from publisher lol) I found it pretty easy to pickup, where as adobe illustrator is a complete nightmare. Corel is quite intuitive I found and things are where you would guess they are and what they are called. Illustrator needs a glossary of terms just to understand what things mean lol.jennywren;32098 wrote:I'm going to go for the x5 now all i have to do is learn how to use it,
Re: Corel Draw
Just checked coreldraw 12 against x4 and your right, the import filters allow certain files to be imported in x4 that cannot be imported into 12.

I suppose it's what you feel comfortable with..
Re: Corel Draw
The earliest version of corel draw i had is 3!
It used to be said that the odd numbers were better .....
I have Corel 11 on a couple of machines, and X3 on another, and they are all perfectly fine, the differences to most things are not significant, just a bit more polished.
If you have an older PC, - go for an earlier version, otherwise, you may as well have the latest.
Only problem with using different versions is remembering to save in the correct (lowest) version.
