In the end I decided to stick with Adkins

Same plattens as the beta maxi, - but a lot more room under, so 'semi threadable'

Keep us informed how you get on with that press - looks impressive. There is not a lot of information arouind one twin platen presses so every little helps.

Thought I would give an update after a week.
Everyone loves it! - given the name 'Hercules' - and just wonderful to use.
Twin platens can really speed up larger jobs, - and now everyone in the shop can be consistent.
While being a whole lot BIGGER, - it actually doesn't take up any more space than an Adkins beta maxi - or any other swing away, in fact, there actually seems to be more space around, as you can put media under, or even on top of, and fasten instructions to the head with a magnet.
Looks like a beast too !

Good to hear.How easy is it to thread smaller size t-shirts onto the base?
