[QUOTE=wayupnorth;137665]I use an interchangeable die tool from badgematic (Germany) as well as 2 fixed die presses from blankbadge (UK)...

What sizes do you use from each company? I'm looking at getting 59mm for bottle openers, do you know if badgematic and blank badge 59mm parts are interchangeable between machines just out of curiosity.

Could I also ask you guys about your cutting machines, what machines you use etc?

Sorry for all the questions. [emoji85]

Bad timing as I am currently packing up everything before moving house. Only used 59mm from badgematic so cannot compare. Presume that both companies would send samples on request.

I have Blank Badge kit, its not cheap but it is well made. Never made a duff one yet. Their little online badge designer tool is actually very good and quick for basic badges. The biggest problem I have ever had is where I have text that runs around the circumference of the badge, right up to the edge - then you really have to be careful in lining up the cutter to keep everything concentric. They also have another web site www.my-accessories.co.uk/ where they sell key ring making kits - again, not cheap but very well made, as are the finished key rings - not the usual tat that costs 10p per unit, and looks like it. I picked up one of their free samples at a Photo trade show 4 or maybe five years ago - its still in my jacket pocket with my house keys attached and used every day.

Thanks guys, I went for the blankbadge G series.

It seems to be pretty decent, made up my first order of 50 bottle openers. No problems, and used their I-badge site as well. Saved me faffing around finding templates etc. So far so good.
