Totally agree, it was just very frustrating having repeat customers and not being able to recreate what they had originally (when exported in X3). X5 is great in my opinion and much much betterthe new/er method is more accurate and more inline with the industry

X6 and X7 has built on that although the earlier versions are more than capable. If your work involves taking alot of files from others the improved import filters are great but even those may cause problems if you do not have a font expecially with pdf in that instance I use Pstill from www.pstill.com it does an excellent job of converting any embedded fonts into curves and producing another pdf which will import into virtually anything.
