Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
I'd imagine if it's been left sitting for 5 years, it will at the very least require the ink lines to be flushed with cleaning fluid. Some of the other members on here have experience with wide format, so they'll probably know more.
If you can get it working, it should be possible to print canvas rolls on it. However, I don't think you'll want to do this with sublimation ink. Had you planned on using the printer for sublimation, or just for general printing of canvasses/posters/etc?

if it's been sat for that long, i'd be surprised if you can get it running again, I wouldn't have touched it with a barge pole, it is certainly not worth £250 (we've bought working ones for this price) i'd expect you'll have to buy a couple of litres of cleaning fluid along with a set of refill carts, and spend a lot of time trying to get it going and be no better off at the end of it.

I can get you some cleaning fluid but seriously just use ink to clean it its better than cleaning fluid if genuine ink. If not take the lines off the back of the ink housing and the dampers and flush with warm water then air to dry, replace the dampers and try. But i seriously doubt the head will work after this length of time and parts no longer available for this machine.

Re: hardly used epsom 7600 printer
HI Guys please help me if you can ...
I have installed dye ink cart set and tried a test print after several cleaning cycles ,.Nozzles was clear expect Magenta , Then I have clean the magenta ink line as it seemed it was blocked with old ink and then done several power cleans and done a nozzle check again and it printed nothing ..
So I have replaced the whole damper set and also check the nozzles of the head using a syringe (isopropyl alcohol alcohol) after taking the head out and all the nozzles seems clean.installed the print head and check the nozzle check , print is very week...
My questions are ..,
1. do I have to change some thing in the printer to say its using dye ink not pigment (It had pigment before ) if so how can I do it ..??
2. Why its not printing a good nozzle check (Tho the print head seems clean for the syringe method )??...I am I missing some adjustment ??..
3.Do I have to do something else after replacing the dampers and cleaning the head ( Taken out ) ..???
Please help me ..Thanks in advance ..

Hello,
Can you show me your nozzle Check plz ?
Did you check this website.
http://www.americaninkjetsystems2.com
I hope you didn't break something in the head with the seringe method because with to much preasure it's not good....
What you can do also it's to take out the head and place it on a recipient with some cleanning fluid and let it sit.
