Re: Epson 1500w problems

Hi, need some advice please. My epson 1500 printer is blobbing black ink all over my prints and not sure how to stop this. I have wiped the printer head as suggested by epson, soaked excess ink from all the sponges and it's still doing it. Desperate as have commission to do and its doing my head in. Thanks

I had the same problem, fitted a external waste ink tank and have never since had the problem.

The paper might be catching on the rollers as it is fed through. Make sure the paper isn't bent and maybe try putting the paper in the opposite way round. Make sure you have the right paper setting when printing.

All you need to do is to search on Ebay, they are not too expensive, and worth the money anyway with not having ink go everywhere.

make sure you search for the 1500 one though, as there are different sizes.

Hi Pesketta. I am thinking of buying one of these. How does it perform? With sublimation inks?
