Cameo Blade Settiing

I had to set my cameo blade setting to 9 for thickness to cut hotflex t shirt vinyl with no carrier sheet does this mean that my blade is blunt or could I be doing something wrong

9 is far too high, you need it on 1 or 2 and set to vinyl or heat vinyl in the setting 8 speed thickness 4
It doesnt always show to the eye that its cut

probably broken inside the blade. tshirt vinyl should be around 1-1.5

I'll buy another blade, that should solve the problem thanks for advice/info

Have you tried peeling a bit of vinyl off, just to see if its cut?
It fooled me first time, i kept thinking it hadnt cut but it had, you cant see the cuts.
