Can you buy pads the will sit on the bottom of a heat press the will make it higher and easier to get the pressure, ie max for t.shirts, patches ect, if so where. Hope I've made sense

You could always get some thick MDF material and lay your rubber base on top of this if that's what you want to do?

Used these before, they're basically the same material as mouse mats.

You could try these for platen rubbers ( 4th item down ) but will have to ring for the price. If you do you can then let us all know

No if it is placed beneath the rubber mat, but not sure why this would be necessary as the press should close firmly without any extra padding. We sell 1.6mm thick rubberised silicon, but you can buy this 5mm thick as well. How thick depends on what the problem is with your press which prevents it from closing properly.

Nothing is wrong but when I do the patches the base colour is not even, they are so thin, tried a mouse mat, coaster but still litte white in the sheilds aat the edges, at least their cheap and can go in the bin, but up to now I've not had consistancy with the back ground colour, and then its hard to get it back to the pressure that you use all the time and it causing to much aggro, just trying to make life a bit easier. T.shirts are ok but just need a little lift when doing the thin thing.

We sell 1.6mm thick rubberised silicon, but you can buy this 5mm thick as well.

Maybe the 5mm thick silicon rubber will be okay then. Listawood sell this (or they used to), so give them a call and see if they will supply a piece cut to your requirements.

I tried the MDF and just to let you know it work just great and when I want to do mouse mat and coaster I just take out the MDF, it has saved alot of trouble as I don't have to fiddle with the pressure when I change between items.
