Colour change mugs.

In all the years Ive been sublimating Ive never done a colour change mug. Mainly because they are not 100% dishwasher proof.
But I tried one the other day and was surprised to see that after it cooled down I could still see the design through the black.
Not easy to see but I can see it.
Is this normal?

Yep, that is one of the main reasons why I stopped doing them! It is the same with ALL the colours.
